What is Hemp and how are Hemp and Marijuana different?Updated 6 months ago

Hemp is a versatile plant belonging to the Cannabis sativa species. It has been cultivated for various purposes for thousands of years. Hemp is known for its fibrous stalks, seeds, and leaves. It contains low levels of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive compound found in marijuana. Hemp is used in diverse industries, including textiles, paper, food, and wellness products, due to its nutritional content and potential health benefits.

Hemp and marijuana are both varieties of the Cannabis plant. Hemp-derived supplements for pets typically contain very low THC levels, which means it is non-psychoactive, while marijuana may have higher THC levels, causing psychoactive effects.  We always urge you to consult with a vet before introducing any new supplements to your pet's diet.
